What if something happens right before the trip and I cannot travel?

We recommend “cancel for any reason” travel insurance to everyone – not included in the trip cost, but important to consider purchasing.

Tell me about the food…

This tour will be a great opportunity to try new foods and show off your flexibility muscles. When we are on campus in Aberdeen or other cities, we’ll likely eat at the college cafeteria, which always has a choice of entree/side, along with a regular salad bar. When we are “out”, we’ll have boxed lunches, which also include choices. If you are a self-identified “picky eater” we strongly recommend practicing trying new foods and including foods you wouldn’t normally choose into your meal plans to get accustomed to eating things that wouldn’t be your first choice on a regular basis.

Can we arrange to pick up our singer before the end of the tour?
No.

We want to travel to Scotland with you but not chaperone, is that possible?

No. But you can travel to Scotland on your own and see us at the public performances. You can also plan additional vacation time with your singer(s) at the end of the tour. We will provide pick up instructions for Thursday evening (late) June 26 along with how you can change your singer(s) return flight to another date and another departure city, if applicable.

Is there any kind of travel insurance included in the estimated cost?
No, see above for more information on travel insurance.

Do chaperones have single rooms?
Yes, everyone has a single room.

Is there any free time for singers/chaperones?
Not really. We move as a group from place to place. There will be opportunity for choice, opportunity to be with small groups, and some “down time”, but not a ton.

How can I see the performances  if I’m coming separately?
We’ll communicate that information as plans develop, but we won’t have this information until next May at the earliest. Many venues will be tickets-at-the door.

My singer has special dietary needs (ie, allergies, vegetarian/vegan, celiac diet)
We will work closely with our tour company to meet those needs. We’ll be asking for that information as we move closer to the trip to work on arrangements, but if you have a specific question, please contact us.

Can we see an itinerary?
Not yet. We’ll share the daily schedule very close to our departure. If you are planning to meet us in Scotland, our performance venues will be known and shared next spring.

You’ll find all summer rehearsals here and we’ll add more details about our actual trip as we learn them (our performance schedule, for example). If you can’t see the calendar, please try re-loading this page.
