FOR RISING 7th GRADERS THROUGH GRADUATED SENIORS
Solo Singing Experience
Have you ever wanted to work on a solo, but you’ve not been sure where to begin? You haven’t taken private lessons, but really want to gain confidence to sing a solo or carry your part in a small group? We can help!
Singers in this class will choose a piece with guidance from MYC instructors, learn it, and present in an informal recital at the end of our time together (solo or with another singer if that’s more comfortable for you). Choosing a piece, working on it, and performing it is not just for those taking private lessons – it’s for everyone!
No audition is necessary. This class is open to any singer (current membership in MYC not required), from rising 7th graders to graduated seniors.
Solo experience meets at MYArts, 1055 E Mifflin St Madison 53703.
- July 13-16 (M-Thurs), 6:30-8pm
- July 20-22 (M-Wed), 6:30-8pm
- July 23 (Thurs), 6:30pm warmup; 7:00pm informal recital open to families and friends
Tuition is $225 and financial assistance is available. Please complete and submit the assistance application included in the registration process.
REFUND POLICY
- Cancellation 30 days or more prior to the start of class: full tuition will be refunded.
- Cancellation 15-30 days prior to the start of class: 50% tuition will be refunded.
- Tuition becomes 100% nonrefundable 14 days before class begins for your chosen session.
